| Jason & Michelle knew Rocky was something special the moment Jason began to train him. His breeder sent him in to Lighthouse to be trained and sold, and Jason & Michelle opted to keep him for a while. Rocky steadied quickly, showing that innate, incredible desire to retrieve (by this we mean a dog who not only races out to get the bird, but races back in to deliver to hand just as quickly) that we've come to expect of our Pie kids. After chatting with the Boettchers, Jason decided that Gunther & Rocky might make a great team. Rocky settled right into life in Washington state under the excellent care and guidance of his new family, and has done very well in puppy stakes. Everyone looks forward to his being old enough for the All Age stakes! |
